Application
Hanks′ Balanced Salt solution has been used:
- to
study the degradation and cytotoxic effects of the composite material and
the ion and/or magnetite release from the scaffolds.[1]
- to
measure the stability of the magnetic scaffold material in bone tissue
engineering.[2]
- in
Fluorometric Measurements of intracellular calcium levels [Ca2+][3]
- for
isolating polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) from umbilical cord blood[4]
- For
assessing airway inflammation in mice[5]
Other Notes
Phenol red has been shown to interfere with the growth of
some cells at cloning densities. Use this medium when growing cells at low
densities.
